Lebanon, TN - Bobbie Jean Hunt, age 95 of Lebanon, passed away March 5th, 2026 at her residence, surrounded by her loving friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ray Carlton Hunt and Ruby Lee Malone Hunt. Ms. Hunt is survived by her cousins and friends.

Bobbie Jean was a graduate of Lebanon High School, earning valedictorian of her class, and a member of Christian Life Chapel. She was educated and graduated from Vanderbilt University and Middle Tennessee State University. She taught at Lebanon High School, DuPont High School, and DuPont Tyler Middle School, retiring from both Wilson County and Davidson County School systems. Bobbie Jean's motto in life: "I have two speeds; here she comes and there she goes." Earth's loss is Heaven's gain.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the Christian Life Chapel (105 Holloway Drive, Lebanon, TN 37087). Funeral service will follow at the church at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Jamie Watson will officiate the service. Active pallbearers: Chris Batty, Eric Clark, Matt Apple, Logan Apple, Jamison Watson and David Clark. Honorary pallbearers: members of the Wilson County Retired Teachers Association. Interment will take place at Cedar Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Bobbie Jean's memory to the Christian Life Chapel, the Wilson County Retired Teachers Association Scholarship Fund, or to The Gideons International. Partlow Funeral Chapel is in care of arrangements.
