Lebanon, TN - Daniel (Danny) Gene Deffendall, age 73, of Lebanon, TN, passed away on June 9, 2025. The Memorial Service is 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2025 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon, TN. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 3 p.m. until the service at 6 p.m.

Danny Deffendall was born in Aberdeen, South Dakota, to Alice Christine Welk Deffendall and James Douglas Deffendall. He was a long-time member of St Frances Cabrini Catholic church. He worked as the Controller at TRW for 35 years. Danny enjoyed watching his grandkids' activities and ballgames, playing golf in Lafayette with his buddies, and teasing his kids, grandkids, and friends. But most of all, he enjoyed being with his high school sweetheart, Prissy, whom he was married to for 52 years.

He is survived by his wife, Priscilla VanHook Deffendall; children, Cory (Kellie) Deffendall, Lindsay Mosley, and David (Rachel) Deffendall; grandchildren, Connor, Sophie, Lydia, Lucy, Sadie, Eli, and Ryan; and siblings, Jimmy (Carmen) Caitlin, Mark (Patti) Deffendall, Joyce Deffendall, Kelly (Kristy) Deffendall, and Billy (Dianna) Deffendall. He is preceded in death by parents, Alice and James Deffendall.
