Columbia, TN - Donnie Marvin Watkins, 52, a resident of Columbia, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

He was born on May 25, 1973 in Maury County, TN, to Johnny (Jan Foster) Watkins and Lois Clark Watkins. Donnie had a hard work ethic and enjoyed working alongside his father for many years. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, playing guitar, spending time with his family and friends, and was known for his outgoing personality. He loved his family and will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Brooklyn Watkins; sister, Tracy (Bubba) Deason; step sister, Janean (Bobby) Greer; nieces, Destanee Deason, Dakotah Deason, Shyanne Watkins; great niece, Ellianna Deason; nephew, Kaleb Deason, and grandmother, Margie Clark.

Donnie was preceded in death by his son, Dyllan Watkins.

A graveside service was conducted Sunday, March 15, 2026 at 3:30 PM at Glenwood Cemetery with Steven Jones officiating. Active pallbearers were Kaleb Deason, Chase Martin, Shane Morton, Shay Harris, and Dale Adcock.
