Portland, Tennessee - Jeremy Trammel, age 46, of Portland, suddenly passed away at his residence on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. He was born on July 2, 1979, in Gallatin, Tennessee.
Jeremy graduated from Gallatin High School in the Class of 1997. Jeremy devoted his life to his family. He was a very caring and attentive husband and father. Jeremy always put his wife first and homeschooled his three sons.
He was a great cook, and even better grill master; one of his favorite dishes to cook was huli huli chicken. He also enjoyed gaming with his sons and watching sports, especially the Atlanta Braves and UT football. Jeremy will be remembered for his kind nature and all the laughs he shared with others.
The Trammel family takes refuge in Jesus Christ during this incredibly difficult time, and take peace that they will be reunited one day.
Jeremiah "Jeremy" Antony Trammel will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 24 years, Lisa Trammel; sons, Jeremiah Trammel, Alex Trammel, Ben Trammel; parents, Mike and Phoebe Trammel; and his adopted brother, Jon Tate.
Funeral services in honor of Jeremy Trammel will be held at Crestview Funeral Home. Visitation will take place on Monday, March 9, 2026, from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM, and again on Tuesday, March 10, from 11:00 AM until the funeral service at 1:00 PM.
Pastor Greg Dunham will be officiating. Interment in Crestview Memory Gardens will immediately follow, with Jon Tate, Alex Haliburton, Andrew Apple, Kyle Lillard, Anthony McGinnis, and Dre France serving as pallbearers.
