Johnny Wayne Solomon Obituary

Mr. Johnny Wayne Solomon, 71, of Pulaski died March 4, 2025, at NHC, Pulaski after an extended illness.


Mr. Solomon was born Aug. 4, 1953, in Nashville. Growing up, he attended school in Pulaski through the 10th grade before graduating from Glencliff High School in Nashville in 1971. He learned carpentry, plumbing and electrical skills from his father, a building contractor, then combined those with heating and air conditioning work throughout his professional career. He was intelligent beyond education, a fair and open-minded gentleman who enjoyed and cherished his friendships. Always willing to help out his friends and family, he conscientiously made the world around him a better place. He is preceded in death by parents, Charles M. Solomon and Eva Brownlow Solomon, sister Annette Solomon Tillman and brother Charles R. Solomon.


Celebration of Life services will be held at a later date. Grace Memorial Funeral Home, Fayetteville, and The Rose of Sharon Funeral Service, Pulaski, are in charge of arrangements.


Survivors include wife Jeanette Solomon of Pulaski; son Evan Solomon of Franklin; daughter Gracie Bowman of Franklin; sister Brenda Solomon Crabtree and husband Ray of Columbia; brother James Solomon of Buchanan, Va. (formerly of Pulaski); stepson Desmond Simmons of Pulaski; stepdaughter Jelisa Simmons; stepmother Dorothy Solomon of Pulaski; and seven grandchildren.
