Michael David Wiggins Obituary

Pulaski - Mr. Michael "Mike" David Wiggins, 75, of Pulaski died March 7, 2026.

Mr. Wiggins was born Feb. 15, 1951, in England and was an excellent husband, father and Papa. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He was known for his quick wit, sharp sarcasm and unmistakable sense of humor. Whether it was through one of his famously goofy T-shirts or a perfectly timed joke, he had a way of making others smile. He earned his master's degree in history and devoted his career to teaching. He was a devoted fan of Doctor Who, enjoyed photography and had a deep appreciation for music and classic cinema, especially silent films. He also had a soft spot for the wonderfully terrible — never turning down the chance to watch a "bad" movie. Above all, he loved his family and cherished the time he spent with them. He also had a special place in his heart for his beloved cat, Oliver. He is preceded in death by wife Dr. Kayla June McKinney Wiggins; and parents, James and Francis Wiggins.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 14, from 9-11 a.m. at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory. Memorial services will begin at 11 a.m. with David Cowan officiating.

Survivors include daughters, Lovey Dahn McDonald, Jennifer Lamberth, both of Pulaski; grandchildren, Tatiana Loggins, Amber (Will) Frank, Chris (Alanah) Wiggins; nine great-grandchildren; and brother Vince Wiggins of Albuquerque, N.M.
