Williamsport, TN - Pamela Jean Sims Anderson, 67, died Sunday, November 30, 2025 at her residence in Williamsport, TN surrounded by her beloved and devoted family.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Grace Nazarene Church with Dr. E.C. McKinley and Lawrence Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Grace Nazarene Church. Pam was born on October 22, 1958, in Maury County, TN to Era Lindsey Sims and the late Ralph Sims. She graduated from Hampshire High School in 1976, she received her RN degree from Columbia State Community College, and a B.S. in Nursing from Cumberland University. She nursed for 42 years, many of those years on the oncology floor at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, and she retired from same day surgery at Maury Regional Medical Center in 2020. She loved nursing, cooking, and running/walking but her greatest joy in life came from her family. Pam was a long time Sunday school teacher and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors include her husband, Steven Paul Anderson of Williamsport, whom she married on April 20, 1979; son, Matt Anderson of Williamsport; daughter and son-in-law, Sylina (Eric) Cannon of Williamsport; mother, Era Lindsey Sims of Williamsport; three grandchildren, Kasen Anderson, Waverly Cannon, and Anderson Cannon; two brothers, Ricky (Jan) Sims and Carl Sims; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Kennon Anderson; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Thomas and Dot Anderson.
Pallbearers will be Cameron Sims, Joey Sims, Will Sims, Jeremy Woodard, Troy Anderson and Adam Anderson.
