Bon Aqua, TN - A funeral service was conducted on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Profitt, Bro. Thomas Southerland, and Zachary Dysinger officiating. Interment took place in the Missionary Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Bon Aqua. The family received friends on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Rachel Corinne Buchanan Cox, age 87 of Bon Aqua, passed from this life on June 8, 2025, at the Pearl at Fairview. She was born on June 17, 1937, in Hickman County to the late William "Bill" and Mamie Morgan Buchanan. She was a longtime, faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Bon Aqua.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Cox was preceded in death by her husband, James Lee Cox, Jr.; and her brothers: Chester Buchanan, Jesse Paul Buchanan, and Marshall Buchanan.

Survivors include her children: Ricky Cox (Lisa) of Bon Aqua and Terri Dysinger (Rick) of Bon Aqua; her brothers: Malcolm Buchanan (Faye) and Michael Buchanan (Pam), both of Bon Aqua; her sisters: Lucy Redden of Mississippi and Margie Floyd (Luther) of Georgia; her grandchildren: Krista Ferrell (Kevin), Chelsea Cox, Amy McCollom (Clint) and Zachary Dysinger (Mackenzie); her great-grandchildren: Dalton Ferrell, Morgan Ferrell, Alayna Turnbow, Owen Turnbow, and Madelynn Cox. Also surviving are daughters of her heart: Ruthie Buchanan and Janice Buchanan.
