Culleoka, TN - Susan Piesch Dobbins, 74, passed away peacefully at her residence in Culleoka on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.


Susan was born on May 29, 1951 in Orlando, Florida to the late Ruth and Hank Piesch. She graduated from University of Central Florida in 1973 with a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education. For several years she taught at Spring Hill High School and was a member of Hopewell Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church.


Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Thomas Edward Dobbins of Culleoka; daughter, Meredeth Dobbins Johnston and her husband Russell of Columbia; son, Matt Dobbins of Asheville, NC; nine grandchildren, Jack Dobbins, Thomas Johnston, Isaac Dobbins, Piper Johnston, Jude Dobbins, Sophie Jane Johnston, Will Dobbins, Josie Kate Johnston, and Claire Johnston; brother, Bruce Piesch (Cindy), Karen Gordon (Randy), and Ruth Ellen Smith (Greg); and several nieces and nephews.


A public memorial service will take place at Hopewell ARP on March 21, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. A private burial will take place at Hopewell Cemetery.
