Dickson, TN - Memorial Visitation will be held on June 21, 2025, from 3PM until 6PM at the Cumberland Furnace Community Center.

Teresa Ann Groves Weyant, of Cunningham Tennessee, age 60, born July 20, 1964, in Dickson Tennessee, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2025, in Nashville Tennessee.

Teresa was a graduate of Clarksville High School in 1982, she proceeded to attend Hopkinsville Community College where she achieved an associate's degree, a bachelor's degree, and continued into the nursing program to achieve her goals of becoming a registered nurse. She remained an RN for over 30 years, where she loved and cared for her patients the same way she cared for friends and family.

When Teresa wasn't caring for and nurturing others, she loved to quilt and hand-make gifts for the ones she loved. She enjoyed cooking and was best known for her delicious, family-famous chess pie. She adored having company and hosting events that brought her family together.

Teresa was a devoted daughter to Betty Ann Groves and the late Bobby Dean Groves. She was a devoted wife to the late David Weyant, a wonderful mother to her daughter, Deserai Ladd (Chris), her son Johnathan Askew (Rachel), her bonus children Joe, Jimmy (Kayla), Jason, Lindy, and Angela. She was a kind and caring sister to Lynn Haliburton, Vandy Groves (Angie), and Randy Groves (Lana). Aunt Tea was also a loving aunt to Brandee (Charlie), Brandon, Cassie (Michael), Ashdon, Marlee, Lacey, Brinlee, and many great-nieces and nephews. Nana was the kindest, most loving grandmother to Ashlynne, Kaleb, Nathaniel, Will, Laura, Ariana, Zoey, Jackson, Gavin, Johnathan, Gage, Taylor, Gracey, Jonah, Kenna, Tegan, Luna, Liam, and Ollie. She will also be missed by her beloved pets Maggie and Binx.
